Labour organizations to go on strike on 2nd September

Hyderabad: In order to express protest and resentment against Modi Govt., National level labour organizations have decided to go on strike on 2nd September throughout India. Telangana Rashtriya Karmika Samakhya appealed to all the labour organizations to join the strike. Mr. M. V. Kumar, President and G. Krishna, General Secretary of Telangana Rashtriya Karmika Samakhya told that even after completion of 14 months, PM Modi has not been showing any interest towards the issues pertaining to labourers. Pressure is being exerted by capitalists and foreign institutions for setting up industries in the country. The top priority of PM is foreign tours. These leaders demanded that Rs. 15000 should be prescribe as the minimum wages for all the categories of labourers working in Industrial Sector. They also demanded ESI, PF and Pension facilities for the employees. They said that Govt. should take over Nizam Sugar Factory, Azam Jahi Mills, Ramagundam Fertilizer Company, A.P. Rayons, A.P. Scooters, Alwyn watch division, Hyderabad, IDPL and Republic Forge. It should also take steps to establish Railway Coach Factory in Qazipet.
