Hyderabad, January 24: In a freak accident, a labourer died when an auto-rickshaw fell on him under Golconda police station limits late on Sunday night.
According to Sub-Inspector Ravinder Reddy, the victim has been identified as Shaik Moinuddin (50) a resident of Jamali Kunta, Golconda.
Moinuddin sustained serious injuries when the auto-rickshaw fell on him after being dashed into by a speeding lorry near Azizbagh Colony. He was returning his home when the incident took place.
He was immediately shifted to Osmania hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment on Sunday night.
Police registered a case under Section 304A IPC.
