Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud on Wednesday came down heavily on former government advisor and Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao for raising objection over placing of former chief minister YSR’s portrait in the State Youth Congress Committee swearing-in ceremony.
Talking to media persons at Jubilee Hall, Madhu Yashki suspected that KVP was pressing this issue fearing the CBI arrest in connection with Call Data Record case filed against his relative Raghu Ramaraju and in order to protect his properties.
Accusing KVP of acting as covert of YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy, he charged that KVP was pressing for YSR’s photo in order to join the YSRCP after quitting the Congress party.
Stating that KVP was resorting to emotional blackmail by raising YSR’s photo issue, he asked as to why KVP did not respond on the allegations leveled by YSRCP leader Vijayamma against Congress president Sonia Gandhi and AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi. He also asked as to why he did not press for placing of other chief ministers’ photos in the meetings.
Madhu Yaskhi said that there was no need for the party to give special recognition to YSR in the meetings and conferences of party. He said that KVP has no moral right to seek photo of YSR as he failed to resign from his post after YSR’s death.
