Kuntia asks party ticket aspirants not to worry

Hyderabad: AICC leader in-charge of Telangana State RC Kuntia today urged the ticket aspirants from the party to remain calm as they would declare the party candidates list after November 9. He asked them to not worry about the ticket allocation and focus on ensuring victory of the party in the upcoming elections.
Kuntia made these remarks at Gandhi Bhavan along with the leaders of Indian Union Muslim League. The Muslim League leaders met with Kuntia and extended their support to the Congress in the upcoming elections. Kuntia said discussions among the alliance partners on seat-sharing were still going on and they would finalize the seats at the earliest.

Commenting on the deadline fixed by one of the alliance partners, CPI, he said he was not aware of any such deadline. Kuntia expressed happiness over the extension of support by IUML leaders to the Congress party on the occasion. Alleging that the ruling TRS, MIM and BJP have joined hands in the State, he predicted that the TRS president KCR would join the NDA to extend total support to the BJP after the upcoming elections. “I am also sure that the TRS would even join in the Union government after the elections”, he noted.
IUML leader Abdul Ghani said Chief Minister KCR has cheated the Muslims in the State in the name of reservations. He said KCR’s promise to provide reservations to the Muslims within four months of coming to power turned out to be a joke. He also alleged that the TRS government did not even spend the funds allocated for welfare of Minorities in the State. Ghani also alleged that Prime Minister Modi was targeting Muslims in the name of love jihad and gau rakshaks.
