Hyderabad, December 03: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths caught a government official with disproportionate assets worth more than Rs 75 lakh in Warangal today. The sleuths conducted searches on Advocate’s Colony residence of the planning officer of Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) in Warangal, E Ajit Reddy, today and unearthed assets worth Rs 75 lakh.
Simultaneous searches were conducted in his office, residences of his friends at Hanamkonda and also at his native place Andukunthanda village in Chityal mandal, Warangal district, an official release said.
Ajit Reddy was found in possession of nine house plots (seven at Hanamkonda and two at Ghatkesar), one house each in Warangal and at Advocate’s Colony in Hanamkonda, 6.20 acre land at Warangal and at Anikal district in Karnataka, gold worth Rs 8.13 lakh, two kg silver ornaments, fixed deposits worth Rs 10,000, Rs 75,000 bank balance, Rs 6000 cash and valuable household articles worth more than Rs 1.86 lakh.
