Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister, Mr. KT Rama Rao warned that old buildings will be demolished during the present rainy season. He has issued instructions to GHMC officials to ensure that no accident takes place due to collapse of old buildings in the recent rainy season. He has also instructed all the Municipal Officials in Telangana to inspect and identify such buildings.
Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, Mr. Dana Kishore, IAS issued instructions at the instance of the Minister. He advised the staff of town planning section of GHMC to issue notices to the owners or the tenants of the old buildings to get the buildings repaired. If the buildings are found to be dangerous, Municipal staff will demolish them. In case of any human loss, Municipal Commissioner and the Town Planning Staff will be held responsible.
