KTR warns Chandrababu of tit-for-tat, vows to meddle in AP politics

Hyderabad: Expressing displeasure at TDP president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana caretaker Minister K T Rama Rao today declared that the TRS will meddle in Andhra Pradesh politics.

Addressing a ‘Mana Hyderabad and Mana Andari Hyderabad’ programme here on Saturday, the Minister said, KTR assured the people that he would address all their problems. He declared that the TRS will involve in AP politics to destabilize the Chandrababu Naidu government in that State at appropriate time. “If necessary, we will involve in the AP politics and try to end Naidu politically, he warned.

KTR said Chandrababu Naidu, who was caught red-handed in the infamous “Note for Vote” case, was trying to meddle with Telangana politics instead of setting right his home turf. TRS chief and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will focus on federal front at the national level against the Congress and the BJP and knows well how to teach Naidu a befitting lesson. KCR withdrew his idea to offer Rs 100 crore on behalf of Telangana State to AP Government for its development as Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave just water and soil for it during a program in Amaravathi, he said.

‘Naidu dividing & deceiving NTR kin’

Chandrababu was over-expecting his strength and playing dramas using money and the media, the minister charged. The TD chief was making wretched politics in Telangana on the eve of Assembly elections and deceiving the NTR family members. By roping in Nandamuri Suhasini into politics from Kutapally segment, Naidu was trying to smash her brothers Junior NTR and Kalyan Ram politically, he alleged. Though we have thrown him to Amaravathi for playing dramas, Naidu was unnecessarily poking his nose into Telangana politics wherein there was no taker for the TDP. He also slammed the Peoples Front of the Congress for forging an alliance with the TDP, TJS and CPI. They have no ideological agenda and the Kutami came up with a common agenda to cheat people with false promises. The Mahakutami of these parties could not earn faith of the people, who are with the ruling party.

Sending a clear signal to Naidu that his attempts to gain a foothold for the TDP in TS were not welcome, Rao said Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would interfere in Andhra Pradesh politics, if required, to teach Naidu a fitting lesson. KTR said even ants would not tolerate if anyone poked a stick into their anthill. Likewise, since Naidu was trying to interfere in political matters here, KCR would, if need be, return the act in same measure, he warned. “Naidu rates himself very high. But no one is better than K Chandrashekhar Rao to teach Naidu a lesson and will even ensure his political end,” KTR said amid cheers from the gathering, who were predominantly people hailing from Andhra Pradesh.

During his entire political career, Naidu made use of two things – money and the media. When he made an attempt to destabilize the Telangana government by offering Rs 50 lakh to each MLC, he was ‘thrashed’ and packed off to Amaravati, he added. “This time, the people of Telangana would show Naidu and his party their place” he said and assured the gathering that all their issues would be addressed.
