KTR US jaunt begins today

nformation Technology Minister K Taraka Rama Rao will make it to US and will stay for about two weeks to attract investments to Telangana State from across the world. The IT Minister’s US jaunt includes a speech on Make in India program at Palo Alto followed by a meeting with Google officials on May 11. KTR will also hold a crucial discussion with Satyha Nadella the CEO of Microsoft on the concluding day of his US trip on May 18, according to confirmed sources. The IT minister will hold meetings and discussions with various governments, businesses, industrialists, companies and academicians.

On the first day, May 6, KTR will hold a high level meeting with Indian Ambassador at Washington DC over lunch and will go to New York for a program. KTR will portray clear picture of Telangana Government’s soon to be launched new industrial policy to offer all permissions in just two weeks in a transparent manner avoiding corruption. The minister is to inform the world business giants and honchos of about 1.5 lakh acres land bank available in the state besides providing better road connectivity, facilities and infrastructure.

KTR is to invite the global businessmen, startups and entrepreneurs for investments in Telangana. The Minister will meet with industrialists on May 7 and attend an NRI meeting in New Jersy, Meet with Melon University CEO at Pittsburg on 8, hold talks with businessmen at Dallas on 9, leave for San Francisco on 10, address Make in India event at Palo Alto on 11 and talk to Google officials. KTR will hold meeting with social impact investors and industrialists on May 12 and visit Stanford varsity next day and will participate in FICCI interactive session on 14 and attend Tycon conference and Sysco Corporation CEO John Chambers on 15 and will talk to Telecom Network Company and meet with NRIs on 16.
