Hyderabad, February 25: TRS took serious exception to AP Congress affairs in-charge Veerappa Moily’s comment that only those who did not want Telangana had created trouble in the Lok Sabha.
TRS leader and legislator KT Rama Rao, speaking to media persons at the Telangana Bhavan, said that Moily has to be dismissed from the Cabinet for making such an irresponsible statement. The very fact that Moily did not say anything on Telangana demand and instead chose to say that those who were demanding Telangana were not really keen on it only showed that he was acting on behalf of Seemandhra people.
The Telangana MPs, apart from demanding recall of the state governor, should also seek Moily’s dismissal from the Cabinet, he said.
Rama Rao also disapproved the way Vijayawada and Guntur MPs – Lagadapati Rajagopal and Rayapati Sambasiva Rao were trying to undermine the cause of Telangana state. He described the Andhras’ love for Hyderabad as one-sided.
