IT and MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao today directed the officials to lay fiber duct line along the stretch of works being taken up as part of Mission Bhagiratha scheme. At a high level review meeting with officials of RWS and IT at Secretariat here he said that procurement works of cable duct completed at Dubbaka where water scheme works are on. When the officials informed that pipeline works of Mission Bhagiratha for 35,00,000 km were completed he said that works of the cable duct should be taken up along with works being started afresh for the water scheme as it was decided by the government. He also expressed hope that the fiber work will take fast pace as the water works are being completed on war-footing. The officials said that fiber works will be completed at Metro segment through aerial cabling.
