Telangana IT Minister, K T Rama Rao today received India Today State of the States award for best Infrastructure in the state at New Delhi. KTR received the award from Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Speaking on the occasion the minister asked the Centre to give more freedom to the states to witness rapid growth and development in near future. The Centre has to give the states complete freedom and extend cooperation for a speedy development he said. He also took exception to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for coming in the way of Telangana development post bifurcation. Telugu Desam Telangana leaders should mend their ways and extend cooperation to the state government on welfare and development works he said. (NSS)
