Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Tuesday said that the Telangana Government was taking all measures for the socio-economic and educational development of Nayee Brahmin community.
Addressing a meeting organised by Nayee Brahmin Association in Chikkadpally here, KTR said that the Nayee Brahmins had played an active role during the Telangana movement. He said that the State Government has recently converted all barbers’ shop from commercial to domestic category in energy billing. He said several other steps were being taken for the welfare of the community.
KTR also listed out various schemes being implemented by the TRS Government for the welfare of different sections of the society in Telangana State. (INN)
