Minister K T Rama Rao met Iowa Governor Mr Terry Branstad at State Capitol building in Des Moines on Wednesday. In the meeting, the Minister for Industries, IT and MAUD introduced State of Telangana and explained about salient features of State Industrial Policy – TSiPASS. The Governor explained about Iowa’s efforts to improve water quality & precision farming using GPS for effective utilization of fertilizers. During the meeting KT Rama Rao proposed possibility of a sister-state engagement with Telangana, to which Governor Mr Terry responded positively.
