KTR meets Nirmala Sitharaman for leather park

Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today urged the Centre to consider the proposal of setting up an International Leather Park at Station Ghanpur in Warangal district of Telangana. The Minister called on Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and pitched for the proposed park. KT Rama Rao sought the union minister to take steps to grant Rs105 cr for the project. KTR asked the union minister to consider the proposal to launch the project is being planned to be set up in 117 acres he informed. He said that it was estimated a preliminary cost of Rs 270 cr for the leather park under Indian Leather Development Program (ILDP).  (NSS)
