Telangana IT and Industries Minister, KT Rama Rao today met Australia High Commissioner to India Harinder Sidhu in Delhi. He discussed with Harinder on the new IT policy and new industrial policy introduced by the state government and welfare schemes. The hassle free industrial policy is giving permissions in two weeks to companies to rope in with investments. He is also apprised the Australian envoy about Telangana state getting number one position in “Ease of Doing Business” and attracting many industries to set up their business and companies to expand. The IT Minister also understood to have expressed hope that the Telangana and Australia will strengthen bilateral ties. KTR is understood to have urged Harinder Sidhu to impress upon Australian companies and industries to invest in Telangana and partner with its growth. (NSS)
