Seeking big investments and active partnership in transforming Telangana into a global destination, IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao is embarking on a Maharashtra trip where he would hold a crucial meeting with Tata Group of companies Chairman Cyrus Mistry on February 3.
Accompanied by a team of officials, the minister is expected to impress upon Mistry and other CEOs of eight companies through a power presentation on making Hyderabad a global city and commitment of Telangana State to usher in new era of rapid growth and development. During the meeting, KTR will seek a manufacturing unit in Telangana, partnership in IT sector and investments in infrastructure in the new State. He also expected to invite Tatas to become an active partner in T hub activities and push the State ahead in IT wing as the government is coming up with an ambitious hassle-free industrial policy to boost innovations, attract investments and partner for rapid progress of economy.
