Hyderabad: Minister for Municipal Administration & IT K Tarakarama Rama Rao today launched IT Logistics Park in Mangalpally village under Ibrahimpatnam Mandal of Ranga Reddy along with Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said the government was making hectic efforts to expand industries in the Ranga Reddy district as part of making Hyderabad into a global city. They also started trunk line works to check to clog of sewage waters in the area at Bata Singaram to Pedda Amberpet. The works will be completed at a cost of Rs 22 crore. They also started works of streetlights worth Rs 1. 82 crores.
KTR also informed that two modern rail terminals and one IT cluster will be started. The Logistics Park will provide employment to some 1,000 persons and the facility is useful for import and export of goods, he said, adding that the logistics park will have bed, locker and bathroom facilities to drivers coming from long distances. The leaders, who failed to deliver services will be removed from their posts as per the new Municipal Act.
Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, local MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, Zilla Parishad chairperson Teegala Anita Reddy, Logistics Park Managing Director Rajashekhar also spoke.
