KTR, Kavitha offer tributes to Ambedkar

Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister K T Rama Rao and MP Kavitha today offered rich tributes to BR Ambedkar, architect of the Constitution, to mark the occasion of 63rd birth anniversary here.

On twitter, they separately recalled the services of Dr Ambedkar, an economist, legal luminary and a statesman. KTR and Kavitha said Ambedkar helped the nation to focus on the need for uplifting the destitutes, downtrodden and deprived classes. Ambedkar vied for the cause of the poor, SC, ST, Minorities and played a key role in making the Constitution to overcome untouchability, discrimination and other lacunae that are daunting the society.

KTR said the TRS has followed Ambedkar ideology and achieved the statehood. The TRS regime has brought in several schemes of welfare and designed development programs unlike any other State in the country for the cause of the deprived classes, women, girls, peasants and youth. Abmedkar is an ideal for all and posterity, he added.
