KTR hits out opposition parties

Hyderabad: Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Monday said that the local youth would be given priority in the provision of jobs in Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) and promised to establish a mining varsity in Khammam district.

The minister was speaking to media after participating in the various development programmes in Bhadradri district. He also inspected the works of KTPS at Palvancha. R&B Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao, MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and others were present.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the TRS government was making efforts to develop infrastructure which could attract industries and provide employment to the youth of the minerals rich Khamma district. He hit out at the Opposition parties saying that they were unable to digest the fact that the TRS government was working for the people’s welfare. He said that the Opposition’s every effort to defame the government would go in vain as the people are reaping the benefits of the government’s work and are supporting the government. The Minister said that the TRS government has given a top priority to uplift the backward sections by infusing huge funds for their welfare.

The Minister took a dig at AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu saying that he is no long a voter in Telangana and his party should not create efforts to stall development in Telangana. (INN)
