IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao today greeted his cousin and senior TRS leader T. Harish Rao on his 45th birthday.
Taking to twitter, KTR praised Harish Rao for his efforts in bringing the TRS party to a formidable position in State politics. Born in a Velama family at Thotapally village in the present Siddipet district, Harish Rao rose to prominence as a leader in the TRS. Harish Rao, who is a nephew of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, was elected as an MLA at the age of 33 and joined KCR to fight for a separate Telangana State.
When there was talk over who would be the political heir of party supreme KCR, both KTR and Harish Rao tried to avoid confusion among the party cadre and stated that they would respect decision of the party leadership. (NSS)
