Flagging off 70 Mini-Sewerage Jetting vehicles here today, IT & Municipal Administration Minister K Tarakarama Rao said the State government has pressed into service the latest machinery as part of transforming Greater Hyderabad city into a world class one.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said the State government has been all possible measures to fulfill its promise of making the capital city into a world-class city and the State into Bangaru Telangana. “We have pressed into service 70 Mini-Sewerage Jetting vehicles and would procure more such vehicles if needed”, he said. The minister also said Greater Hyderabad would become an ideal to other cities in the country. He also exhorted the officials concerned to take immediate measures to flush out flood waters during the monsoon season. KTR also distributed bacteria-free dresses to the crew of mini-sewerage jetting vehicles.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Ministers Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Padma Rao, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and others were present. (NSS)
