KTR feels TDP dug its own grave with Cash-for-Vote Scam

Telangana IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao today observed that Telugu Desam leaders had committed a big blunder and desperately trying to drag others in the grave they had dug for themselves in the cash-for vote scam.
Interacting with the media in New Delhi after meeting Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu this morning, KTR responding to questions said that law would take its own course of action in dealing with the scam. The TDP leaders were in a quandary for the past fortnight and in their utter desperation were leveling accusations against us (TRS), he observed.
Asserting that TRS was busy in its commitment for the development of the new state of Telangana, as a lot more has yet to be done, KTR as responsible persons in the TRS government were busy in trying our best to secure all possible financial assistance from the central government. As part of this he had come to the national capital, he added.
He further said that he had invited Venkaiah Naidu to attend an international convention being planned in Hyderabad shortly and brought to is attention various issues confronting the state that needed to be resolved as soon as possible. He later called on Union Transport Minister Nitit Ghadkari.
KTR disclosed that the during his meeting with the HUDCO Chairman Ravikanth he had sought an assistance of Rs.25,000 crores for taking up drinking water projects in the state. The HUDCO had agreed to grant a loan amount of Rs.10000 crores for the water grid. During his meeting with Gadkari he stressed the imperative need for treating 1000 kms of roads in Telangana State as national highway besides granting Class One City status to Siddipet. (NSS)
