TRS leader and Sircilla MLA K Tarakarama Rao (KTR) on Tuesday challenged TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu to come for an open debate with his father and party supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao.
Speaking to the media here, KTR said Chandrababu Naidu was escaping from answering to the questions posed by KCR by terming KCR words as “cock-and-bull” stories. He demanded that Chandrababu Naidu stop criticizing KCR. KTR said that Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy have no moral right to criticize KCR. He said that while Jaganmohan Reddy had amassed lakhs of crores of rupees by illegal means, Chandrababu Naidu was resorting to witch hunting against KCR due to political animosity.
Reminding that KCR had announced to install a Dalit as chief minister if Telangana State was formed, he challenged Chandrababu Naidu whether he would provide an opportunity to others if his party managed to wrest power. “Chandranna Rajyam means hunger deaths and suicides. The people would teach a fitting lesson to the Congress, which deceived the people of Telangana”, he said and demanded that the Congress leaders stop cheating the people of the region on Telangana issue.
