KTR blames Center for neglecting southern states

Hyderabad: Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, IT Minister of Telangana State alleged that Center is ignoring Southern states. He also said that non-NDA states are getting neglected in the process of development. He complained that the assurance given in A.P. Reorganizations (new) rules have not been complied with.

Mr. KTR gave this interview to a national media channel. He pointed out the issues which Telangana is facing. He said that the Central Govt. has paid special attention to Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor whereas Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai have been overlooked. He said that Central Govt. decided to launch bullet train on Mumbai-Delhi route.

If the Central Govt. does not change its attitude, he would advise KCR to negotiate with the southern states.

He pointed out that Central Govt. assigned a national status to Polavaram project of A.P. but did not pay heed to various representations made by KCR.

Union Minister of Finance announced the establishment of AIMS but nothing was done.

When asked about the expansion program of BJP in Telangana, he said that there is no chance. He also said that KCR has made a place in the hearts of the people of Telangana through his performance.
