KTR bats for more amenities on ORR

Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today directed HMDA and other officials to provide more facilities on outer ring road which is like a necklace to the city.

At a review meeting here today, the minister asked to provide more amenities, greenery, ambulance and trauma care centers in coordination with health wing and others. He sought a report in week days on the proposals for land acquisition and to set up four bus terminals on four sides of the city. KT Rama Rao stressed the need for improving facilities on the major roads like ORR and others with sideway amenities.

He asked to focus on providing better wayside amenities on interchange of the roads including LED bulbs on ORR, radial and grid development. KTR appreciated the HMDA officials for speeding up the related works and suggested to give incentives to the staff. They informed that greenery being expanded on ORR as per Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directive and trying to complete Shilparamam facility near Uppal by Dasara festival and developing 40 lakes under Mission Kakatiya.
