Hyderabad: IT and Municipal Administration Minister, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao called on Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley yesterday in New Delhi and sought financial assistance for Bhagirata and Mission Kakatiya for Rs. 24, 500 crore from Central Govt. He also demanded to release an additional amount of Rs. 50 crore for water supply scheme. He requested the Central Minister to release funds to Telangana State. He submitted the memorandum to Union Finance Minister alleging that during Andhra regime, Telangana suffered a lot. He told that it is the obligation of Govt. of India to fulfill the promises made at the time of bifurcation of the State.
