Allaying fears on Food security cards, pensions and other certificates for students, Information Technology Minister K Taraka Ramarao today said the people can apply for the same even after October 20 deadline.
Speaking to mediapersons on Thursday, the minister said as people were standing in long queues and grappling with each other to get applications for the schemes resulting in the death of two persons, KTR said there is no need of panic as the government will give food security cards, pensions and other certificates to all eligible persons. He also maintained that those who are not eligible will be denied the same. Details on whitepaper are enough and there is no need of submitting any other documents, he added. (NSS)
