Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao has accused the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre of neglecting Telangana.
Addressing a meeting of advocates in Amberpet and later road shows in Nagole and LB Nagar here on Tuesday, KTR said that the BJP Government had announced special development packages for Jammu & Kashmir and Bihar in view of Assembly elections in those States. However, no special package was given to Telangana, although it was the new born State in the country. He accused the BJP of following communal agenda to win GHMC elections.
KTR also said that Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir and TDP leader A. Revanth Reddy would retire from politics after GHMC elections. He said no other State Government in the country has achieved what TRS Government did in Telangana during the last 18 months. (INN)
