Krishnaiah threatens agitation over fee reimbursement dues

TDP MLA R Krishnaiah on Tuesday threatened to launch massive agitation if the Telangana Government fails to clear fee reimbursement dues on immediate basis.

Speaking to media persons at Secretariat Media Point here, Krishnaiah said more than 14 lakh students were suffering due to non-clearance of fee reimbursement dues. He said many students, who completed their degrees, were not able to apply for jobs as their respective colleges are refusing to give certificates unless government clears their fee reimbursement dues. He threatened that he would launch massive agitation, along with affected students, if the State Government fails to act on his request.

Krishnaiah also accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of completely ignoring the welfare schemes while misleading the people with fresh announcements and laying foundation stones for different projects. He alleged that the government’s machinery got confined to the Chief Minister’s farm house and officials were busy organising his tours.
