Hyderabad: Congress Party’s Senior Leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Monday launched a scathing attack against BC welfare association Leader R. Krishnaiah and alleged that Krishnaiah would talk about BCs when elections were round the corner.
He also alleged that Krishnaiah did very little for the welfare of the BCs of the state but always claimed more. He alleged that Krishnaiah went to YS Jaganmohan Reddy to gain political benefits. He said that their party president Rahul Gandhi gave Krishnaiah ticket as he was a BC Leader. He asked Krishnaiah as to why he did not demand majority number of seats for the BCs in Andhra Pradesh state. He asked the people of the state to be careful with opportunist BC leaders. Rao said that the demand of their party to withdraw the creamy layer of BCs was not her fulfilled by the central government.
