Telangana Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy today said the State government would transform the State Capital into a global city in the next four years.
Inaugurating works estimated to cost Rs 14 crore in the LB Nagar Assembly constituency here on Sunday under Swatch Hyderabad program, the Transport Minister maintained that they would provide all basic facilities to the twin cities. The TRS government was committed to provide all basic amenities and infrastructure in Hyderabad and other districts. The Hyderabad city, he said, will be developed on par with global standards under the aegis of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Twin Cities will soon get drinking waters as efforts to bring Krishna waters are getting fructified, he remarked. His remarks assume significance as there was a sort of panic and confusion among people in the twin cities on the dwindling water levels in the main reservoirs that were catering to drinking waters needs. The TRS Government is keen on providing all facilities, he said, and urged the political parties to cooperate for development and welfare of the people in the State. (NSS)
