New Delhi, October 13: “Environment Ministry has no borders. It transcends all borders.”
External Affairs Minister S M Krishna thus described the ministry headed by Jairam Ramesh who had recently expressed strong reservation over some power projects in Arunachal Pradesh being taken up on strategic grounds.
Krishna said the Environment Ministry tends to look at things in its own perspective but the Foreign Office looks at these in a different way, an apparent dig at the ministry’s pro-active tendencies.
