A meeting was held in the chambers of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary on Tuesday to review the Aadhar seeding in Transport Department.
Principal Secretary of TR&B B. Sam Bob has briefed about the Aadhar seeding in the Transport Department. So far, 62.49 lakhs Registration Certificates records and 51.65 lakhs Driving License records are active through Aadhar, in the department. A facility was also provided in the Transport Department website and in all the District Offices for vehicle owners and License Holders to approach voluntarily for their Aadhar seeding through the website.
Aadhar seeding in Electricity Department and Civil Supplies Department was also reviewed in the meeting.
Transport Commissioner N Balasubrahmanyam, UIDAI ADG K. Devarathna Kumar and others attended the meeting. (INN)
