Krishna Madiga released on bail, says silent protest from Jan. 1 to 5

MRPS founder- president Manda Krishna Madiga has been released from Chanchalguda jail today on conditional bail. He was in jail for the last 10 days.

Speaking to the media, Manda Krishna alleged that the TRS government was violating the Constitution and adopting Manu Dharma law. He failed to understand as to why cases were filed against him though he organized the rally peacefully while cases were not filed against K Chandrasekhar Rao who had participated in Telangana movement. “The Telangana government filed 20 cases against me”, he alleged. He asked whether laws were different to “Doras’ and “Dalits’ and reminded that MRPS stood besides KCR, when the latter staged fast-un-to death during Telangana agitation and extended all support.

“But KCR kept me in jail for 10 days when I organized a peaceful rally for categorization of SC reservations”, he bemoaned. He also demanded that the State government to take all-party delegation to Delhi before Parliament monsoon session ends or else MRPS would continue its activities. He said that MRPS would take up fasting deekshas from January 1 to 5.
