Krishna River Management Board is to decide on the allocation of waters to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
The board held a meeting here on Friday and heard the appeals of two Telugu states. The Board will take a decision on the allocation of waters to the States on Saturday. The Board is to give the waters sought by both the States after calculating the inflows through small irrigation projects. While Telangana sought 39 TMC, AP urged 47 TMC for their needs and the Board has decided to take a decision on Aug 27. The three member committee will conduct a study and submit a report to the government by September 15. (NSS)
