Kosovo: According to a report published in Dawn, Kosovo declared its independence on 17th February 2008 but Serbia had not recognized it. Its parliament on 14th December decided to form its own army in order to protect its international borders. For this purpose, Kosovo Security Forces would be elevated as Defence Forces. Speaker of the Parliament Mr. Khadri Wesley announced that a new era is going to start. The present parliamentarians welcomed it and the citizens started dancing on the roads. Serbia termed it as a danger for its security. European Union criticized it, but US supported it.
