Hyderabad: Caretaker minister T Harish Rao today launched a broadside against the Maha Kootami of the Congress, the Telugu Desam and CPI.
Speaking at a program at Siddipet today, Harish Rao ridiculed that several parties have ganged up to take on the might of the ruling party. It is their futile effort and it cannot even give a reasonable fight and will be dumped into the sea by the people, he felt. The Maha Kootami was getting funds from TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who has been trying to sabotage development of Telangana State. He also slammed the grand alliance of the Opposition parties for trying to loot the people if voted to power. He also warned the Opposition parties against their attempts to stall growth and welfare of the people.
Harish Rao said Chandrababu Naidu should come with his version as to why he was creating hurdles to bifurcation promises. “The TDP chief should come out clear what he opts with regard to river water share and distribution of assets as per the AP Reorganization Act. He alleged that Chandrababu cannot make his stance clear whether he will be with Andhra Pradesh or Telangana on distribution of the assets which was still pending due to his conspiracy.
Harish Rao said the TRS will come up with a manifesto and agenda to prevent migration of people and suicides and to achieve welfare for all sections. He said the farmers will develop in the next 60 months if the people support them for next 60 days. He also said Rs 8.50 lakh cheques were given for 850 acres in Mandapally wherein an industrial park will come up in 500 acres.
