TJAC Chairman, Prof M Kodandaram today inaugurated NRI WING of Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) here on Saturday at The Pennsylvania Convention Centre, Philadelphia, PA, USA. TNGO President Devi Prasad, TRS MLA Gongidi Sunitha and TITA Honorary President V Prakash were present. The program started with paying tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Telangana statehood which followed by Telangana State Anthem ‘Jaya Jaya he Telangana’. Warm welcome note by TITA North American Chapter President, Vishnu Inugala explained the purpose of TITA and its objectives to the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Kodandaram recalled TITA contributions to the Telangana movement. He said that the participation of intellectual group like TITA has provided a huge boost for the Telangana Movement. TNGO President Devi Prasad appealed TITA – NRI Wing to take active participation in rebuilding of Telangana by conducting knowledge sharing sessions with IT and Business Aspirants. He appealed them to share the inputs or suggestions to the Government of Telangana in policy making for employment creation. Sunitha called upon Telangana NRIs to come forward in the mission of reconstruction of Telangana and persistent development by whatever means they can.
Prakash stated that TITA – NRI WING began to play a pivotal role in rebuilding of Telangana State by building a communication bridge between Telangana NRI’s intellectual think-tank and the people of Telangana. It will certainly prove handy for knowledge transfer in various sectors by arranging weekly video sessions with respective beneficiaries, he said. Prakash also maintained that the TITA NRI Wing will guide Telangana Students for Higher Education in Abroad, especially in choosing the best colleges, best suitable skills and job market awareness. TITA NRI Wing, he said, will promote the culture and festivals of Telangana in NRI Community.” TITA North American Chapter President Vishnu Inugala, North American Chapter Vice President Shravan Vullengala, Manoj Thatikonda, and many IT Professionals participated in the event from TITA NRI Wing.(NSS)
