Komatireddy opposes Secretariat shift plan

Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on his proposal of shifting the Secretariat to Erragadda near Sanathnagar.

Talking to press persons here, the former minister took exception to the chief minister’s plan to shift the Secretariat. He demanded KCR to withdraw his proposal and instead focus on keeping the promises made and to provide employment opportunities to the youth. KCR should not forget that Telangana got statehood from the place where Secretariat is located, he said. He was critical that KCR failed to implement any schemes he announced which are confined to papers. As almost all the political parties are opposing the idea, KCR must withdraw the proposal.

Venkat Reddy also accused the chief minister of failing to address the issues of the people. He suggested that KCR should take interest in welfare schemes and developmental programs and provide timely succor to the farmers and deprived classes. Venkat Reddy also accused the CM of trying to lure the people through many sops and changes in Hyderabad, keeping the GHMC elections in view.(NSS)
