Komati vows to quit as MLA politics if Congress fails to win 10 seats in Nalgonda

Hyderabad: Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today lashed out caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for saying he developed the State and asked why he forgot Nalgonda district. He also ridiculed KCR for claiming that TRS would bag all the 12 Assembly constituencies in the coming elections.

Venkat Reddy has alleged that the State government was constructing Thermal Plant at Damaracharla only to make money by the caretaker minister G Jagdeesh Reddy and his supporters. He said Congress party would stop the works of Damaracharla Thermal Plant if returned to power. Komatireddy said KCR, who didn’t care to induct a woman in his cabinet, was talking tall on distribution of Bathukamma saris.

Condemning KCR’s allegations against Congress leaders at Nalgonda Ashirvada Sabha on Thursday, Komatireddy alleged that KCR pocketed Rs 30,000 crore in Kaleswaram project. He also lashed at KCR for neglecting completion of SLBC tunnel. He said KCR’s remarks against Congress leaders at Nalgonda meeting were painful. He made it clear that he would resign from to his MLA post if the Congress failed to win 10 out of 12 seats.
