Komati vows to quit if KCR returns as CM in 2019

Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has made it clear that he will not continue as an MLA in case Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao becomes Chief Minister for second time.

Speaking at the Assembly media point after staging walkout from the House, Komatireddy said the TRS MLAs have congratulated him for questioning the government in the House. He also alleged that the public representatives were taking commissions in the Mission Bhagiratha Scheme and he will reveal the proofs when time comes.

There were several problems in the proposed Yadadri Thermal Power Project in Nalgonda district, Komatireddy said and warned the state government that he would obstruct the project works along with one lakh people. Making it clear that he was not in the Chief Minister post race, the former minister lamented that nobody will give opportunity and one has to get positions by doing lobbying.

He recalled that the high command had not shown interest to announce the name of late Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy for the Chief Minister post then. He made it clear that he was ready to work together with the CM candidate in case the high command announces now. He said he would extend his support to CLP leader K Jana Reddy in case the high command announces the latter’s name for Chief Minister post. (NSS)
