Komati slams Gutha & gang for leaving party

Reacting to announcement of Nalgonda Congress leaders MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy, former MP G. Vivek and his brother Vinod that they will be joining the ruling TRS on Wednesday, Nalgonda strongman Komatireddy Venkat Reddy demanded that the “shameless” people first resign from their posts and contest the elections again.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Komatireddy dubbed MP Sukhendar Reddy’s comment that Congress was afflicted with intra-party feuding in the district as “Joke of the Year”. He demanded that the leader who were deserting the party which fed them to resign from their posts and get ready for elections. Komatireddy also hastened to add that he would retire from politics if Gutha Sukhendar Reddy and Gutha Bhaskar Rao get re-elected.

Describing the migrant leaders as “Shameless” people, Komatireddy quipped that the people would teach these opportunist leaders a fitting lesson. Faulting Sukhendar Reddy saying that he was leaving the Congress due to intra-party feuding, Komatireddy said he was ready to contest against Gutha Sukhendar Reddy if the party high command permits. He also recalled that Gutha Sukhendar Reddy and Mothkupally Narsimhulu abused each other many a time when they were in the TDP.

Meanwhile, another Congress leader from Nalgonda district, DCC working president Pasham Ram Reddy also left the party and post. He has sent his resignation letter to State Congress president Uttam Kumar Reddy through fax. He was also reportedly planning to join the ruling party along with Gutha Sukhendar Reddy and others on Wednesday. (NSS)
