Accusing Panchayat Raj Minister K. Jana Reddy of lowering the dignity of Nalgonda district, former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has said that it was not important how many years Jana Reddy worked as a minister, but it was more important what he had done for the Telangana region being a minister.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Komatireddy ridiculed Jana Reddy’s assertion that the ministers of the region need not resign succumbing to the pressure of Telangana Political JAC. The former minister called upon the people not to allow the Telangana ministers to move in the region. He also asked the Telangana protagonists to stage protests and ‘attack’ them whenever the ministers dare to visit in the region.
Komatireddy also demanded that the Telangana MPs tender their resignations and join the movement to compel the Centre to concede separate Telangana State. “Otherwise, they would have to face the ire of the people in region”, he added. (NSS)
