Kolkata Shocker: Man arrested for sexually assaulting stray dogs

Kolkata: Kolkata Police has arrested a married man, aged 35 years for sexually assaulting a stray dog after dragging him to his room, TOI reported.

The crime is reported from Kolkata’s Patipukr area in Lake Town where the accused has reportedly dragged a stray dog into his room and had sex with it while his wife and three children went for attending a marriage ceremony in Bihar.

The accused identified as Kamlesh Mahto is a daily wage earner who works as a labourer at the paper manufacturing unit and stayed at the staff quarters.

According to the Police, the incident came to light when three young friends while taking a walk around Lake Town around 9pm saw the man dragging the dog into his home inside a paper box manufacture factory.

The man left the dog and ran out of the room when he saw the three youths approaching him.

The youths later took the dog to a nearby veterinary hospital where the doctors confirmed the sexual assault.

The Police who was informed later arrested the accused later the same night.

The Police also revealed that the man has also confessed to similar crime with various other stray dogs when his family was away.

The man was charged with IPC sections 377 (carnal inter¬course against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal).
