Kolkata: Massive rally organized by BJP in protest against post-poll violence and an alleged attack on its workers and supporters led to clashes with police personnel today.
The police personnel had to resort to firing tear gas, water cannons to disperse the BJP activists and to stop them from reaching the Bowbazar crossing in the city, TOI reports.
The BJP activists in retaliation hurled stones at the personnel.
