Koena Mitra likens Rahul to Jinnah; but her post draws ire of Twitterati for this reason

Bollywood actor Koena Mitra has come out with a startling allegation asserting that Indian National Congress president Rahul Gandhi was welcomed by ‘Islamic flags’ in Kerala. She tweeted on Friday: “First partition was done by Terrorist Jinnah, Next could be Rahul Gandhi. Islamic flags welcomed him to #Kerala. Congress manifesto is pro jihad and anti jawans, anti India. Somebody is working hard for “Gazwa-e-Hind””

However her comments and post drew ire of Twitterati who slammed her for her half knowledge. They informed her that the flag was of IUML.

A Twitterati with profile name Berozgar Bharatiya wrote: ‘Kitne gandhon (donkeys) ko aur batana padega ki ye IUML ka flag hai… hindustan me na bewakoofi kam hai naa gadhe”

Bhavika Kapoor said: “The green flag belongs to a political party which is approved by Election Commission. Your tweet is enough to prosecute you u/s 295A for disrespecting a religion, provoking religious sentiments. Also note 295A is a non bailable offense. @MumbaiPolice please arrest her.”

Pratheesh informed: “I’m from Kerala & I’ve got huge political differences with Rahul Gandhi. But I must tell the fact. This is the flag of Indian National Muslim League. I’m politically opposed to them as well. The fact, again, is that they are Indian nationalists & more than what Sanghparivar is.”

Ankush Prashar shamed her saying: “Again @koenamitra speak about such sensitive topics without any knowledge These r #IUML cadre holding IUML’s flags & NOT Islamic flags. This pic was taken Jan 2016 rally of former #Kerala Minister Kunhalikutty Earlier u were exposed by #cobraPost & Shame on u 3rd class flop Aunty.”

Haziq Ansari observed: “@koenamitra bhi sonu nigam ki tarha berozgar hai. Kaam bhi nahi mil raha aur koi pooch bhi nahi raha. Isliye limelight me aane k liye kuchh na kuchh to karna padega na. Isliye mem ne bjp se theka liya hua hai musalmano ko badnam karne ka.Aur musalmano k khilaf nafrat failane ka.”

Koena Mitra, You have just violated a law. A non bailable offense. @MumbaiPolice Please arrest @koenamitra for violating section 295A. You don’t need any warrant to arrest her.

Mohd Obaidullah questioned her: “Have you tweeted it yourself or was done on behalf of BJP IT cell?? If tweeted yourself, who has provided this picture, coz not of Rahul’s meeting??? Madam propaganda has its own limitations, won’t work this time. PPL are asking questions on real issues.”
