Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today said several leaders from other parties are joining the ruling party on seeing monumental development and welfare in the State.
It may be mentioned here that political leaders were joining TRS after Revanth Reddy, representing that constituency resigned from Telugu Desam and joined the Congress.
The minister was interacting with media persons at the Assembly lobbies here. Minority leaders of other parties from Kodangal constituency joined the ruling party on Wednesday, he said. He also denied charges as baseless that the TRS was buying leaders of other parties. “There was no need for the ruling party to buy anyone”, he said, adding that the leaders and activists, who want to develop their segments are evincing keen interest to join the TRS. The Opposition was resorting to malicious campaign to tarnish the government’s image, he fumed.
Inviting leaders, who were keen on development of the State to join the ruling party, Jupally said such people are always welcome to work with the government for Bangaru Telangana. It may be mentioned here that a good number of leaders and activists from Kodangal constituency have joined the TRS and the defections are going on continuously. (NSS)
