Kodandaram planning to float new political party

Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram today announced that they would soon decide on launching a political party in the State. The JAC, which met here today, discussed about the future course of action plan.

Speaking to the media later, Kodandaram said the JAC was contemplating to launch a political party. Stating that the TRS government was not sincere on unemployment problem, the JAC will be organizing ‘Koluvula Kotlata’ meeting on November 30 in the capital city with the permission of court.

Alleging that the State government was not giving permission to organize public meetings, he said the police had given permission to organize ‘Koluvula Kotlata’ meeting at Saroornagar Grounds. He said they failed to organize the meeting earlier due to suppressive attitude of the government. He also said the JAC would organize ‘Amarula Spoorthi Yatra’ in Nalgonda district on December 9 and 10. Stating that organizing meetings in Hyderabad has become a Herculean task, he demanded that the government revive the Dharna Chowk at Indira Park keeping the problems of the organisers in view.

He also demanded that the State government announce job vacancies and release a calendar to fill the jobs. Demanding that the State government pay equal salary to equal work, Kodandaram demanded that the Hyderabad Metro Rail Authorities give jobs to the locals.

The JAC also expressed its grief over the death of Oggu artiste Chukka Sathaiah and Indurthi former MLA Deshini China Mallaiah. (NSS)
