Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Sunday denied having any differences with Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Talking to reporters after attending the breakfast meeting at Congress MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud’s residence at Banjara Hills in honour of Rashtriya Lok Dal president Ajit Singh, Prof Kondararam dismissed the media reports that claimed that he was having serious differences with the TRS chief. He said that all pro-Telangana parties and leaders including KCR were working unitedly to achieve the statehood for the region.
Prof Kondandaram also claimed that Ajit Singh informed the Telangana leaders during the breakfast meeting that serious talks were going on in the national capital for the formation of Telangana State. He said Ajit Singh has advised the Telangana leaders to struggle unitedly for the cause of statehood. He expressed hope that the Telangana leaders would counter the campaign unleashed by some Seemandhra leaders to break the unity among the Telangana leaders.
It may be mentioned that the reports of differences between Prof Kodandaram and KCR have been doing rounds since the Telangana March held on September 30. Earlier, KCR was expected to participate in the March. However, the TRS chief prolonged his stay in Delhi and confined the Telangana March as the TPJAC event. Both the leaders did not meet each other after KCR’s returned to the city after a month-long stay in New Delhi.
