Kodandaram asks govt to solve problems of NSF

Telangana JAC chairman Prof. M Kodandaram has demanded that the State government, which has 40 percent share in Nizam Sugar Factory, to react immediately and solve the problems of the Nizam Sugar Factory.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Kodandaram said that the workers were on roads due to closure of Nizam Sugar Factory. He demanded the state government to give 13 months salaries to the workers immediately. He found fault with the State government for arguing in the Assembly that there were no contract workers in Singareni Collieries. He said that TJAC will conduct a convention soon on the problems of Singareni Open Costs, Muslim Reservations and students. He asked the state government to consider the people, who sacrificed their lands etc, on humanitarian grounds and said that it was not proper to the government to move forward without taking care of the displaced people in the name of development.
